With the help of a search consultant group, we were able to complete a nation-wide search and had many applicants from across the country, and even in the Fox Valley, who were very interested in coming to be a part of what God is doing here at Pathways. 

Of those, we narrowed it down to three very strong candidates and brought them onsite for in-person interviews. A dedicated group of congregants, the Pathways Staff, and Pathways Board all got a chance to spend time with these candidates. It was amazing to watch the power of the Holy Spirit and God’s faithfulness as one candidate rose to the top for all three groups. 

We are very excited to share with you that we made an offer to Ben Korinek, and that offer was accepted.

Ben has been a key part of the senior leadership team at Christ the Rock Church, and now God is leading him—along with his wife and three sons — to join our faith community here at Pathways.

His first Sunday with us will be August 3 and we can’t wait to welcome him!
