First off, thank you for your continued prayers for Pastor Adam and Pathways as a whole during this season. We promised to be transparent in all things surrounding the situation and the restoration plan so each step of our communication is below. Pathways Church Elder Board

Hey Pathways,
Last month we shared that Adam would slowly begin returning to Pathways Church which includes transitioning back into a staff role and slowly taking on some leadership responsibilities. Beginning this Sunday, January 7th, Adam will resume teaching from the stage.
The two main questions since our last communication are –
Is Adam restored to his marriage?
Unfortunately, there has been no change in the status of Adam’s marriage; public records show that Adam is the respondent in the legal separation. We as a board continue to encourage and pray for a full reconciliation of the Demetrician marriage. We trust God and know that He has a strong plan so we are asking that you continue to pray with us on this sensitive and private matter.
Is Adam ready to return?
Adam has worked hard in many areas of his life for the past 30+ weeks and he has been tested through this season in many ways. Adam has done everything we have asked him to do regarding his family and marriage and our decision to bring him back is rooted in prayer and aligns with the requirements of our restoration plan. We believe that the timing of this decision is from God.
Restoration, carrying each other’s burdens, testing our own actions, carrying our own load, and sowing to please the Spirit are the things that will guide us to the promised harvest. As Elders, we completely understand that it is our responsibility to protect those who call Pathways Church their home. 1 Peter 5:1-3 - "To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve."
Our responsibility continues to be the protection of the flock and a renewed sense of what God’s direction is for Pathways Church. We are working on a few additional items that we look forward to sharing in the coming weeks.
