We promised to be transparent in all things surrounding the situation and the restoration plan so each step of our communication is below. Most Recent Update | 12.20.24

Dear Pathways Family, 
 
We want to take a moment to update you on the path ahead and assure you of our commitment to leading together during this next season. Last weekend Pastor Adam announced his immediate resignation as our Lead Pastor and now is the time to show the enemy that we are united and energized to ensure that Pathways Church not only continues, it flourishes.  

Our services and all programming will continue as scheduled. The mission and heart of Pathways remain steadfast: to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  
We are in the process of identifying a search firm that will guide us in finding the right spiritual leader for our church. A firm allows us to leverage their strengths and ensures that the candidates we seek align with our mission and values. We are committed to a thorough and prayerful process. In the meantime, we are discussing potential candidates to serve as an interim spiritual leader. Our goal is to provide steady, Christ-centered leadership as we navigate this transition. 
 
We will soon identify key volunteers who will be asked to serve on a hiring panel. Their role will be crucial in representing our church family and helping us select the right candidate for the role of lead pastor.  
 

This past weekend, Joe shared that we have several choices in how to respond. We’re asking that you choose to lean in. We have full confidence that our church family won’t just step up — you’ll be a shining example of who we are as a community. Your commitment, love, and faith are what make Pathways Church who we are.

Board Update | 12.15.24

A message from the Board of Elders that was shared on stage on 12.15.24 –
The Board of Elders understands the surprise of this announcement and we also recognize the season we’re in. It’s likely that we’re experiencing the very same feelings you are. 
 
For nearly 11 years, Pastor Adam has made an incredible impact on our church. 
 
His deep trust in God, the way he has guided so many to grow closer to Jesus, the countless moments of joy, comfort, and inspiration he has shared with us — all these contributions have given generations of families hope in Jesus.  As we celebrate Pastor Adam’s faithful service; there are two things we want to focus on; 
 

Adam has led through a very difficult season and this decision is an opportunity for him to experience true healing and restoration. Our mission to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus has not changed. We remain committed to walking alongside each other, in faith, to continue the good work God has called us to do.

 
In the coming days, we will share a plan to ensure that the sense of community and the experiences you cherish at Pathways Church remain strong.
