PARADOX OF PROGRESS

Palm Sunday is marked by the “Triumphal entry of Jesus.” 

The cross was the most humiliating and excoriating form of death in the first century. Jesus is setting up for the crucifixion, for the scene where He will pay the price for our sins. Where He will die like a criminal even though He reigns like a King. It's a paradox.
