*While we believe that children can have a sincere faith in Jesus, we have found the best practice is to wait until a child is at least eight years old before the child takes the step of baptism. If your child is under the age of eight and has expressed interest in baptism, we recommend that you use the time to strengthen his or her faith in other ways.
