Pathways will be taking a team of people to City on a Hill in Milwaukee on Saturday, April 14 to work at their Health Clinic and Community Service Day. City on a Hill is a catalyst working to transform the lives of youth and families in Milwaukee's central city neighborhoods and to overcome poverty and injustice, through a collaborative and Christ-centered model of service.
The Health Clinic is looking for medical and non-medical volunteers to serve in a variety of ways. Non-medical volunteers will assist in many areas such as food service, working in the food pantry and hygiene store, greeting and praying with guests, and other light work. Medical professionals will assist in meeting with guests to provide minimal medical services. All are welcome to serve, and children ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a parent in many areas of outreach during this day.
If you are a professional Health Care provider and offer special services, please call City on a Hill directly so they can plan ahead and give you the details of what is needed for you to serve in your profession; (414)931-6670 and speak with Blake McCarty . All other volunteer positions are open for anyone to serve in.
It’s a fun day to help those in need. Please register by April 8 so we can plan transportation. There is no cost. Lunch is provided by City on a Hill. If you have a special diet, please bring a sack lunch.
The team will be leaving Pathways Church at 7:30AM and returning by 6PM.
