Attention elementary-aged kids! Come join our Party in the Park Back to School Jam at Pierce Park from 10AM-3PM on August 25! We will have fun bounce houses, face painting, food, backpack giveaways, and more. We want to start you off on the right foot as you start your school year.
Volunteers are needed at this event, both prior to and on the day of the event. We want to focus on extending the hand and heart of God in order to improve a child's back to school experience. Please fill out the form below and check the shift and areas you are interested in serving. We will be having a training meeting and a volunteer rally prior to the event, and we will communicate via email when those dates are once they are determined. This training will encourage and equip you in your role at Party in the Park.
In addition to needing volunteers in the clothing, food, backpack, and game areas, we are in need of experienced hair stylists to give kids a fresh cut as they head back to class.
This year, we will be sponsoring backpacks that will be given out to kids who attend this event. We are working through an organization called "Kits for Kidz." A backpack costs $20, and each one contains everything an elementary-aged child will need to start their school year off right. To sponsor a backpack, click on the button below, indicate how many backpacks you would like to sponsor, and fill out your payment information. All donations are tax-deductible.
