Demonstrating God's heart for lost people.
At Pathways, we are committed to serving the Fox Valley by showing the love of Jesus and meeting practical needs in multiple ways. Throughout the year, thousands of people come together at events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Party in the Park. Many of our small groups and teams volunteer to serve the homeless in our local emergency shelters on a monthly basis, and we also partner with local food and clothing pantries.
Shelter Care Ministry
Volunteers from Pathways serve at the Homeless Connection the first Wednesday of the month in February, April, June, August, October and December from 4:30-7:30PM. We serve at the Fox Valley Warming Shelter the first Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of each month from 5-8PM. Pathways Church provides the main course of the meal. We ask volunteers to bring a dish to pass that will feed between 30-40 people which will compliment the main course. For example, a salad, vegetable dish, bread or dessert.
Did you know that Pathways has a garden that serves the Fox Valley by donating all produce to the local Freedom Food Pantry? We are looking for individuals and small groups that enjoy spending time in the garden and would like to help out with weeding or planting. Weeding is ongoing throughout the summer whenever you have time. If you can serve once a week or once a month, we would love to have your help! From tomato plants to peas, we need your green thumb to help us spread the love to our surrounding community.
If planting or weeding is not your thing, consider helping us by donating any of the following:
- Gardening Tools & Gloves
- Fruit Trees
- Building Experience - we need a shed to hold our garden tools.
For more information or any questions call or text Jenny Golding at 920-470-8401.
A special thank you to Petersen's Compost and Schmalz Landscaping for their donations.
