I Can Love Like Jesus! - Preschool March 2015

At Pathways Church, our greatest desire for our preschool children is that they know three basic truths by the time they are five years old: God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Each weekend, we help the children understand these truths through fun, interactive Bible stories, activities, and worship.

In March, we want our Preschoolers to know that Jesus tells us to “love one another.” What does that even look like? Well, it looks a lot like the way Jesus loved people when He was here on earth. Through everything He did and the stories He told, Jesus taught us to love one another. That’s why we’re telling these specific Bible stories this month. We want to teach our preschoolers to love like Jesus.

Memory Verse: “Love one another.” John 13:34, NIV

March 1st: Bigger Barns • Luke 12:16-21

March 8th: Widow’s Mite • Mark 12:41-44

March 15th: Good Samaritan • Luke 10:25-37

March 22nd: Washing Feet • John 13:3-17

March 29th: Palm Sunday • Matthew 21:1-16

Keep the conversation going at home.
As we seek to teach your children about God’s love for them, we know that no one has more influence in their lives than you. Parent Cue allows us to partner with you by providing monthly resources for you and your child to connect.

Are We There Yet? - Elementary March 2015

This month’s virtue: Patience

In March, we will be talking about Patience. We trust God to provide for our basic needs, for our safety, even for our health and well-being. But there are certain moments when trusting God seems just a bit more difficult—often those are the times when we’re forced to wait. It’s in the waiting that our faith is tested. Allowing God to develop patience in us is important. Not only is patience a Fruit of the Spirit, it is a foundational way that we can reflect God’s character.

Patience is waiting until later for what you want now.

This month’s Bible Verse: “Wait for the Lord. Be strong and don’t lose hope. Wait for the Lord!” (Psalm 27:14, NIrV)

Bible Story: Jacob Steals the Birthright (Genesis 25:24-34)
Bottom Line: When you think you can’t wait, think twice.

Bottom Line: When you think you can’t wait, think about what’s true.

March 15th

Bottom Line: When you think you can’t wait, keep your cool.
