Pathways Students Walk for Freedom

  • Pere Marquette Park 900 North Plankinton Avenue Milwaukee, WI, 53203 United States

Every 30 seconds someone becomes a victim of modern-day slavery.

This fall, Pathways Students is committing to raise $1500 for the  A21 Campaign, a non-profit Christian organization that works towards abolilshing sex trafficking and slavery throughout the world. Many people don't realize that there are 27 million slaves in the world today, and we are going to help bring awareness and freedom to those trapped in this terrible injustice. We invite you and your teenager to join us for the 3rd annual Walk For Freedom!

On Saturday, October 15 in Milwaukee, WI we will fight together as a global community to illuminate the darkness of human trafficking, and raise funds to rescue and restore more lives than ever before. We will join with over 250 locations around the world as we lace up our shoes, put black tape on our mouths, and march in single-file to eradicate modern-day slavery for good!

Why do we walk? We walk for children like Nina, who was only 7 years old when she was sold into prostitution by her parents in Thailand. This year, as we raise funds and walk for freedom, we have the power to save the lives of human trafficking victims all over the world. This is an incredible opportunity for you as a parent to partner with your teenager to make a difference in our world together. We believe that together, we can abolish modern-day slavery!

Join us as we work to bring FREEDOM to every man, woman, and child on every continent!

Cost: $20 per person (includes walk for freedom t-shirt and lunch)
Students will leave from Pathways Church at 8AM and return at 6PM.
