We exist to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus.

Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, you're welcome at Pathways Church! Come just as you are – to explore, question, and connect with others as we grow together. In addition to attending our weekend services, two of the best ways to get connected at Pathways Church are through a role or a relationship. Serving alongside others provides opportunities to connect while serving a greater purpose. Relationships are also developed through becoming involved in our ministries and small groups.

Authentic transformation happens when we choose to do life together.

At Pathways, we offer both classes and small groups. Classes meet once a week and are content-based with definite begin and end dates. Small groups are a way for individuals to intentionally connect on a more personal level. We offer message-based groups which dive deeper into the previous weekend’s sermon through a series of discussion questions.

Church designed to help your kids learn and grow.

Pathways Kids Weekend Experiences

Sunday Mornings (9:00am and 10:45am)

Ages 0-5
In our early childhood ministry, our mission is to make a lasting impression of who our Heavenly Father is on the heart of a child. Pathways Kids provides an opportunity to take in the wonder of who God is through a variety of fun and engaging activities.

Ages 6-12
In our elementary age ministry, we believe that the Bible should never be boring, that worship can be fun, and that the best leaders always care. Each Sunday we want our kids to discover God for themselves and see how God’s Word applies to their lives.

Pathways Kids Midweek Small Groups

Wednesday Evenings (6:30pm-8:00pm)

Grades K-4
This small group takes kids on a deeper journey into the big idea they discovered while at church on Sunday. The big idea and Bible story come alive through hands-on projects, prayer, share times, and fun games.

Grades 5-6
This small group takes students into a relational journey through deeper truths of the Bible, as they tackle topics that face pre-teens today.

Ages 0-5
While parents attend groups and classes on campus, we offer childcare for our youngest children.

We are a movement of students and young adults from all walks of life. Our purpose is to cultivate a Jesus-centered culture [ethos] where all young people, regardless of their church background, social status, or peer group, can experience Jesus’ love in a life-changing way through encounters with Him and people who genuinely care.

When you walk into our gatherings, you’ll be met by some of the friendliest people in the whole world! You’ll experience many forms of creativity through how we communicate, and you'll find a genuine heart of worship and excellence in our music. We do all of this to paint an accurate picture of who Jesus is so we can imprint youth culture with His love.

We would love for YOU to be a part of the movement!

Every Wednesday night 6:30-8 PM in the Pathways church main auditorium.

(Doors open at 6PM, service starts at 6:30PM)

This is “THE EVENT” where youth and young adults gather from across the Fox Valley, pooling their talents to worship, build community, and learn what it means to be a revolutionary Christ follower.

Life Groups meet in homes throughout the community. Life Groups typically meet on Sunday nights from 6-8 PM (dates and times may vary from group to group).

Life Groups are age appropriate small groups. These groups are designed to cultivate genuine friendships and is our major vehicle for discipleship.

Discover who you really are.

Pathways Church helps provide the support necessary to equip men to discover their real identities, to focus on God’s role in their lives, and to become the men God created them to be. Through small groups, mid-sized gatherings, and special events, men at Pathways walk alongside each other as they grow in their spiritual and relational journeys.

Upcoming Events

Demonstrating God's heart for lost people.

At Pathways, we are committed to serving the Fox Valley by showing the love of Jesus and meeting practical needs in multiple ways. Throughout the year, thousands of people come together at events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Party in the Park. Many of our small groups and teams volunteer to serve the homeless in our local emergency shelters on a monthly basis, and we also partner with local food and clothing pantries.

Upcoming Events

Equipping people to advance God's kingdom.

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

Here at Pathways, we take all three of those geographical and demographical areas seriously and an important one is our "Jerusalem" right here in the Fox Valley. We are committed to serving the Valley and do so in multiple ways from outreach events to partnerships with local food and clothing pantries and shelters.

St Louis missions trip

This May, Pathways Church sent a team of 35 people to the St Louis Dream Center which is set in the heart of North St. Louis, an inner-city areas known for high crime, drugs, and gang activity, to experience what God is doing in this ministry. God has called us to be His hands and feet not only to the world, but to those in our backyard and areas of our country that are in need. While at the Dream Center, we served their team leaders by helping in the food pantry, soup kitchen, clothes closet, outreach teams, adopt a block and so much more.

Moldova Missions Trip

Troy and Heidi Darrin

Troy and Heidi Darrin

Moldova is a small landlocked country in Eastern Europe which declared its independence in 1991 with the collapse of communism. After years of being a closed country, Moldova is now open to the gospel. Believers meet without fear, committed young pastors are ready to be trained, and the church is experiencing new growth.

Pathways Church is partnering with missionaries Troy and Heidi Darrin and sending a team to Moldova September 22-October 1, 2015. While there the team will be doing construction on several village churches between Bali and Chisinau. God has also opened the door to student and campus ministries where students are evangelized and discipled through a variety of ways such as sports, English classes, and recreational events. Our team will be working alongside the Darrins in several areas of ministries.

Church to Church Initiative

In 2010, Pathways was one of the first 30 churches to pilot a new program sponsored by Compassion International, called the Church to Church Partnership Program. Our partner church is  located in Tarakeshwar, India. Because of their strong commitment to reach the people of their village with the love of Christ, our partner church serves as a host site for the Compassion Discipleship Child Development Center, which currently serves 292 children. Our sponsorship allows the staff of the Development Center to provide each sponsored child with Bible teaching, nutritious food, sports, medical checkups, special celebrations, tutoring, educational material, vocational training, health education and cultural programs.  The children return to their (often) non-believing homes, and share what they have learned with their families…the Word of the Living God! Many families then come to know Jesus and participate in the Sunday church services. The staff also provides Bible studies for the parents or guardians of the sponsored child.

Our involvement in this partnership means that each of you, who make up the body of believers at Pathways Church, has the opportunity to provide for the children in Tarakeshwar who currently need a Compassion Sponsor. You can rescue one of these children from poverty, in Jesus’ name, by clicking on the Compassion link below. We pray that, in response to God touching our lives, we will be moved to action – to provide hope to those who need it most.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, drop-in support group for anyone with hurts, habits or hang-ups that are keeping them from a full relationship with God.

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery at Pathways Church is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes, and Christ-centered 12 steps. The experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, victories, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our life problems.

By using the Christ-centered steps and applying their biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. The freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

Meetings are held every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30PM, with fellowship and refreshments following.
